Earle, Iain Fletcher, Raymond Roseliep, and Nina Sabra, and Pugh's draft responses to them regarding their research into the lives and work of Lionel Johnson, Arthur H. Mackmurdo, and Herbert P. Horne. Also included is a draft letter from Pugh to Nikolaus Pevsner, asking his advice concerning a possible biography of Mackmurdo; responses to Pugh from B. E. Kenworthy-Browne and Constance Q. MacQueen regarding the research by others; an undated ALS (with photostatic copy of same) from Lionel Johnson to Arthur H. Mackmurdo, and a note to "Nell" from an unidentified writer.
